Privacy Policy

Laari Exchange collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party services. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, and photos you scan never leave your phone.

None. The app has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. We do not collect, store or transmit your name, email address, device identifiers, location, contacts, or any advertising identifier. We operate no server that receives your data.

When you scan a bank slip, the image is read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. The image is not uploaded, not stored by the app, and not shared with anyone. It is held in memory only while the screen is open.

You choose how much of your library to share. Granting limited access means the app can only ever see the photos you pick, and you can change or revoke that at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Only two requests, and neither identifies you or carries your figures:

• A currency code and a date, sent to a card network's public exchange-rate service to look up the published rate for that day.
• A request to Bank of Maldives' public exchange-rate page to read the published rate table.

No amounts, no card numbers, no account details and no device identifiers are included in either request. Those services are operated by third parties and will see the network address the request came from, as with any web request.

The app stores the last exchange-rate table it loaded, and a flag recording that you've seen the introduction, so it opens with figures and works without a signal. Both live only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

Laari Exchange is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. The app itself will continue to collect nothing.
